Shahrukh to play anti-hero in Dhoom 3

The super success of Dhoom and Dhoom 2 meant that the role of an anti-hero was being appreciated by the audience in Bollywood. It was John Abraham in Dhoom and Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2 playing thieves who stole the limelight ahead of Abhishek Bachchan who played the cop in both the cases. Yash Raj Films

After John and Hrithik YRF is planning to cast another big name in Dhoom 3. The buzz in the tinsel town is it may be none other than the 'Baadshah' Shahrukh Khan who might play the anti-hero this time. If Shahrukh gives his nod this won't be the first time he will be playing an anti-hero in his career. Who can forget the stammering Shahrukh Khan in the movie Darr.

Yash Raj Films is going through a lean patch having delivered just two hits since 2007. Incidentally both these hits Chak De! India and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi have come with Shahrukh. The Chopras see him as a quick-solution to all their woes. It also remains to be seen who directs Dhoom 3 as Sanjay Gadhvi has had a fallout with the Chopras
